At the time of opening the contract, you will be asked for a credit card to carry out a pre-authorization that ranges from $3,000 pesos as a guarantee. The criteria we take is variable so it will depend on the type of car, rental days, and charges. at the end of the rent and the protections you contracted.

The base rate is the cost of the rental without including taxes, protections and additional services.

All rentals with return in another city are subject to an additional charge, this being the Transfer or Drop-Off Charge.
Its value depends on the mileage between the location where the rental unit is taken and the location where the vehicle is returned.

Requirements


The minimum age to rent a car with us is 23 years old.

It is necessary to present an official credential (INE or Passport), a valid driver's license and a Credit Card of the person who will be the owner of the contract; all of them in original.

It is a fundamental requirement that the contract holder present his current driver's license regardless of his nationality.

The official identification accepted is the IINE Voter Credential and Passport, these must be valid.

In the event that the contract holder cannot drive the vehicle or alternatively wants a second driver in their rental, it is necessary to purchase the *Additional Driver service (with a daily charge of $90 pesos plus taxes). Said additional driver must present a valid driver's license.

It is a fundamental requirement that the person who will be the owner of the contract present both the driver's license and the credit card and official identification under his name in order to purchase the service.

In rentals of the Mini, Economy, Compact, Medium and Standard categories, the protection values are:
Mandatory Coverage $280.00 pesos
Basic Coverage $490.00 pesos
Total National Protection $570.00 pesos

Late return
What happens if I don't return the car on the date or time designated in the contract?
Your daily rates are calculated based on a 24-hour rental period. Failure to return the vehicle on time will incur late charges.
Claims

You must report any accident to the competent authorities at 066. Additionally, you must report it to Car Experience Tulum in a period of no more than 24 hours. after the accident to the phone number of the branch where you rented the car. It is necessary to complete an accident form.

We will provide assistance as long as you have contracted Total Protection, being limited to a coverage radius equivalent to the Metropolitan Area of the city where you have rented the unit; If any of the two previous premises is not met, you must change it by your own means.

You must request assistance from Car Experience Tulum to send you duplicate keys. This action will result in an extra cost that will be assessed according to the distance and time in which the event occurs and assistance is required. If you choose to "open" the unit by your own means and it is damaged and/or altered in its functional opening and/or ignition mechanisms of the car, the fact will be considered negligence and you will be responsible for the total costs of the repair. said damage to the unit.

Manage fuel supply by your own means; In fortuitous and exceptional cases and only if you have "Total Protection" coverage, you can be given assistance on the road as long as you are within the metropolitan area of the city where you have rented the unit, considering that the fuel supply will be your account at a unit cost per liter according to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car tabulator (it is a higher price than at the gas station).

When delivering the car


WReport it immediately to the office where you have returned the vehicle, however, we are NOT responsible (in any case) for objects left in the cars regardless of the type or value of the item in question, the rental contract states this.
